All of our tours are run on rigid inflatable boats, also known as R.I.B.S. These boats are fast, safe, low profile military boats – meaning we can get you to the whales the quickest. They can go up to 50 MPH – it’s more than a tour, it’s an adventure! No other whale watching companies in San Diego use R.I.B.S.

Unlike a lot of other whale watching tours, our boats allow for full 360 views the entire tour. If there’s a whale, you’ll see it! No need to fight for a good spot because every seat is the best seat.

As we operate our tours on small, low profile vessels, the chance of getting sea sick is much lower than on the larger tour boats. Our agile vessels allow us to ride the waves more smoothly and quick, as opposed to rocking side to side. And if you’re still a little nervous, don’t worry! We also have anti-nausea tablets, patches, and wrist bands available for purchase before your tour starts.

Our R.I.B.S allow you to get up close and personal to whales, dolphins, and sea lions, without disturbing wildlife. We often find pods of dolphins swimming right next to our boats!
